Langara/Langra Mango Plant

Mangifera indica, commonly known as mango, is a species of flowering. It is a large fruit tree, capable of growing to a height of 30 metres (100 feet). There are two distinct genetic populations in modern mangoes – the “Indian type” and the “Southeast Asian type”.

Langra mango has a golden yellow color when ripe. It is soft, almost fibreless and has an aromatic pleasant sweet flavor. The unique taste and richness in its flavor makes it a worldwide favorite. Langra is commonly called the “King of Mangoes”. Overall it is considered the best mango in terms of its rich aroma, sweet taste, juicy pulp and high nutritional value.
